MARCH 14 - FAMILY PROMISE:
Sunday, March 14, in Manhasset begins the first week that SRC will be hosting several homeless families in our building through our partnership with Family Promise. The families will eat dinner and spend the night here at church, then will be transported to the Family Promise day center during the day. We need your help in any of the following ways: stay a night, or just come spend an evening with the families, help set up cots after Sunday services, prepare a meal or part of a meal one night, donate double-sized sheets and other linens. Great way to partner with your community group or a few friends! Please email Pastor Josh for more information.

APRIL 3 - TEAM WORLD VISION 5K OR HALF MARATHON FOR HAITI:
Run/Walk a 5K or Half Marathon (13.1 miles) and raise money for Haiti through Team World Vision. Pastor Jerry will be leading a team from Shelter Rock Church  on Saturday, April 3, in Fresh Meadows, Queens.  There is no fundraising minimum for runners and you can specifically raise money to go towards World Vision bringing hope and healing in Haiti.

APRIL 30 - MAY 2 - SABBATH COUPLES RETREAT:
Friday to Sunday, April 30 – May 2, at Spruce Lake Retreat Center in Canadensis, PA. SRC married couples (20s-30s) are invited to join us. Theme is “The Great Date”. Cost is $300/couple, which includes all meals, lodging, etc. $100 deposits are due immediately – checks should be written out to SRC, with “Sabbath Retreat” in the memo line.
